What is Sheet Director?
Sheet Director is a Google Workspace add-on that helps to manage and control bi-directional data flow between Google Sheets and several other applications like Google Calendar, Tasks, Contacts, Sheets, QuickBooks, FreshBooks, Zoho, etc.Â
It is available in the Google Workspace Marketplace. Please check the Installation instructions to install the add-on.

Setting Up Zoho Billing in Sheet Director
Choose App and Service :Â
Select Zoho Billing from the list of applications.Â
Select Service.Â
Zoho Billing ConfigurationÂ
Click on connect to Zoho Billing to connect to Zoho Billing so that you can pull data.Â
Zoho Billing to Google Sheet - Query
If ZohoBilling is connected successfully the following screen appears.Â
Select the required fields.Â
Filters & Sorting
Configure Filter and Sort by to filter and sort the executed data.
Destination Settings:
Configure the destination settings to save the executed data.
Scheduler Settings:
Switch on Run automatically to execute services automatically in background.
Notification Settings:
Configure the Notification settings to setup the email templates and add attachments.
Click on execute to pull the data into sheet
Click save to save the service

Google Sheet to Zoho Billing - Post
Entity
Select the business you want.
Select the entity object that you need to post to.Â
Select Apply Template or Setup Manually.Â
Select Apply Template to add a default template.Â
Select Setup Manually to select manually.Â
Source Sheet
Choose the sheet that contains post records.Â
Enter the Start at cell value.
(the default value is A1, if you change the value you need to refresh the header by clicking on refresh icon on side)Â
Select the Status columnÂ
If status column is not there, simply click the +button to add the status header on your sheet(A status column will be created in Spreadsheet)Â
Select the Result columnÂ
If result column is not there, simply click the +button to add the result header on your sheet(A result column will be created in Spreadsheet)Â
Mapping
After selecting the entity it will ask for intelligent mappingÂ
If you need to do intelligent mapping click on yesÂ
Intelligent mapping will map the matching fields automaticallyÂ
You can do manual mapping by selecting Column drop downÂ
You can delete the field by click on delete icon on top of each filed mapÂ
You can't delete mandatory* fieldsÂ
Click on execute will ask for confirmationÂ
Click save to save the serviceÂ
It will show number of records ready to postÂ
Click post now to post the records on Zoho Billing.
It will show the count of number of records posted successfully and failed to post.Â
Synchronize Objects in Zoho Billing
Select service as Synchronize
Select the business.
Select the Object.
Enter the max results.
Synchronize settings:
Synchronization Keys:Â
The keys will be used for matching rows in Google Sheet with data in Zoho Billing.Â
Conflict Resolution:Â
When Synchronization happens, there could be a conflict of data between Google Sheets and Zoho Billing.

Zoho Billing Wins: The latest data from Zoho Billing will be updated into Google Sheet.Â
Sheet Wins: The latest data from Google Sheet will be updated into Zoho Billing.Â
Note: The major requirement in synchronization is the synchronize keys. If any of the keys is not having a value in the Google Sheet then Sheet Director will create it first and then the service will be executed.Â
Zoho Billing Wins
Here the Zoho Billing data is edited and on execution this data will be updated in Google Sheet.
Choose the Synchronization sheet.
Initially, the sheet should be empty. So choose a sheet that is newly created or an empty sheet.
In order to get the data for the first time click on Execute button.Â
It will show the prompt in order to get the data into the sheet for the first time.
Click on Get Now. It will fetch the data into the sheet.
Once you have the data in the sheet it will show the result column.
Select the Status column
If status column is not there, simply click the +button to add the status header on your sheet(A status column will be created in Spreadsheet)
Select the Result column
If result column is not there, simply click the +button to add the result header on your sheet(A result column will be created in Spreadsheet)
The number of records that are ready to be synchronized will be shown.
It will also show all the data that are ready to be updated.
Also, the number of data that needs to be updated into Zoho Billing will also be updated.
Click on Sync Now to sync all the data and update it into Google Sheet.
Click on Refresh icon to refresh the data.
If the data are synced successfully the following screen appears.
Click on Close to close the configuration.
Sample Output
The Status column in the Google Sheet shows the status of the data.
The newly updated data will be marked as Synced Successfully.
The old data that already exists will be marked as Already Synchronized.
Google Sheet Wins
Select Google Sheet Wins.
The latest updated data from Google Sheet will be updated into Zoho Billing.
You can edit the sheet data (if you do not have data follow the steps mentioned in Zoho Billing wins section)
Click on Execute.
The number of records that are ready to be synchronized will be shown.
It will also show all the data that are ready to be updated.
Also, the number of data that needs to be updated into Zoho Billing will also be updated.
Click on Sync Now to sync all the data and update it into Google Sheet.
Click on Refresh icon to refresh the data.
If the data are synced successfully the following screen appears.
Click on Close to close the configuration.
