What is Scheduler?

The Scheduler is a program that arranges operations to be executed at an appropriate time.

In Sheet Director Scheduler means scheduling the execution process to run configured services automatically on the defined intervals/ period of time. It will run as a background process.

Automate Master Setup

  • To set the scheduler for your queries navigate to Automate page (Click on side nav menu > Automate).

  • Enable the automate switch to make your scheduler active.

  • You can check your scheduler's heartbeat (last ran time) inside Scheduler Health.

  • This Scheduling is available only for paid users.

Note: Automate is a master switch and it needs to be enabled before you set an automatic run on your service.

How to setup an automatic execution?

  • Once the master scheduler is enabled open query setup.

  • Inside query setup navigate to Scheduler Settings Section.

  • Choose time intervals

    1. Hourly

    2. Daily

    3. Weekly

    4. Monthly

  • Select Execution Period

Setup Hourly Scheduler:

  • Select interval as Hourly.

  • Select Execution Period.

Setup Daily Scheduler:

  • Select interval as Daily.

  • Select timezone.

  • Select execution period.

Setup Weekly Scheduler:

  • Select interval as Weekly.

  • Select timezone.

  • Select week day (Monday - Sunday).

  • Select execution period.

Setup Monthly Scheduler:

  • Select interval as Monthly.

  • Select timezone.

  • Select month day (1st day - month last day).

  • Select execution period.
