Import CSV, PSV,TSV type files data, and file data separated with custom delimiter into Google Sheet.
What is Sheet Director?
Sheet Director is a Google Workspace add-on that helps to manage and control bi-directional data flow between Google Sheets and several other applications like Google Calendar, Tasks, Contacts, Sheets, QuickBooks, FreshBooks, Zoho etc.Â
It is available in the Google Workspace Marketplace. Please check the Installation instructions to install the add-on.Â
What is CSV?
CSV (Comma Separated Values) is a comma-separated values file, which allows data to be saved in a tabular format. CSVs look like a garden-variety spreadsheet but with a .csv extension.
In Sheet Director CSV application is used to import CSV (comma-separated values), PSV (pipe-separated values), TSV (Tab Separated Values), and custom delimiter-separated values into a new Google Sheet or an existing Sheet.

> Import data from different extension files like CSV, TSV, and PSV to Google Sheets.
> Import data from the file where the values are separated by a custom delimiter.

Setting up CSV Service
Choosing App and Service
Select CSV from the list of applications
Select service as Import
Choose Source Type
Choose Source Type as CSV if the file is CSV type.
Similarly, PSV and TSV source types will work for PSV and TSV-type files.
Choose Source Data and then select files/folder from the drive.
You can choose multiple files/folders also.
If your Source Data is of URL type, then you need to mention the URL.
Select the required destination spreadsheet.
Scheduler Settings:
Switch on Run automatically to execute services automatically in background.
Notification Settings:
Configure the Notification settings to setup the email templates and add attachments.
Click on execute to pull the data into sheet.
Click save to save the service.
